LA TRADIZIONE DELL'ARTIGIANATO
Tessilarte was estabilished in Florence in 1947 as a small artisan workshop, generated by the passion for fabrics and the creative flair of Vittoria Camerino Martinetti. Beautiful and striking hand worked linen fabrics were used to make tablecloths of a hundred colors with exclusive designs, extremely advanced at a time when household linen was synonymous with "white". Most of the production was sold abroad, especially in the United States: Tessilarte has been probably the first Italian trademark displayed in the shop windows of America. Tessilarte customers are the most sophisticated and elegant stores in Italy and abroad.
The historic headquarter has always been in Florence.
