Filippo Quochi, a craftsman specializing in blacksmithing since 1997, is the latest descendant of a family of blacksmiths that boasts three generations of professionals. He shares his craft with his father Marrico in the heart of Livorno.
His knowledge gained through meticulous practice, combined with an innate creative ability, has generated new styles within his blacksmithing art. The use of lasers combined with the search for new material combinations of iron and the search for new formal impulses testify to his ambition for continuous research and experimentation. Creative thinking finds space and freedom in dialogue and confrontation, and according to the SloWork™ philosophy, each creation has its own time to be conceived.
