 ESPERIENZE DI RICERCA

An artist-ceramicist, son of art, his training took place in the workshop of his father Pippo, founder of the ceramic workshop of the same name in 1970. He graduated in graphics and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. He took part in art residencies, exhibitions and work experiences in Italy, France, England, Spain and Mexico.
In her works he allows glimpses of the different elements that go into their construction. Even the fragments and scraps from the processing of ceramics become the content, the story of that object. The waste, the breakage and the imperfection are important, indeed they are enhanced, as in Kintsugi (an ancient Japanese restoration technique).
Rebuilding with waste a new reality becomes ecology and added value. To create, one must know how to listen to earth, colour, water, metal, fire, air, hear what they are asking for and combine them, rearranging them through a creative action that will lead us to a new way of imagining space.
Always finding new solutions in the search among the infinite possibilities in front of us, exploring for example the potential of enamels, their superimpositions, transparencies, links. Each piece is a succession of reactions between materials that meet each other, each exploiting its own characteristics.
He produces unique ceramic pieces for everyday use and design objects for furniture by combining ceramics with other materials. His production is characterised by an ongoing search for new stylistic experiences.
He gives ceramics lessons by appointment.
He dispatches all over the world.
His works are exhibited in important private spaces in Europe, the United States and Saudi Arabia.
